Meanwhile, in the land of trolling JW Marriott….
LoL
Another amusing part of the whole thing is that #JWMarriott levied 18% GST on the bananas, while fruits, vegetables and other essentials in raw form are exempt from the same.

If you aren’t aware of the drama surrounding Rahul Bose, here’s a refresher. Rahul Bose trended furiously all of Wednesday after he posted a video from JW Marriott in Chandigarh, saying that he paid Rs 442.50 for two bananas that he ordered at the five-star hotel.
Trolling followed – some censured the hotel while others spoke against Rahul. Soon after, Mandip Singh Brar, Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner and Excise and Taxation Commissioner, ordered an investigation into the matter.
“Taking cognisance of the video and bill posted by the actor, I have ordered an investigation. I have directed Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner (AETC) Rajeev Chaudhary to conduct a thorough probe on how the hotel had charged GST on fresh fruits. Strict action will be taken if found guilty,” Mandip Singh Brar told The Indian Express.
Rahul Bose has appeared in the films Mr and Mrs Iyer, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Antaheen and Dil Dhadakne Do.
