Mumbai Police officer saves dog from drowning during floods. Big salute, says Internet

As Mumbai battled torrential rains over the past few days, video clips and information about several incidents in the city flooded Twitter. On Wednesday, Mumbai Police released a video of a police officer rescuing a dog from the floods following heavy rainfall and the internet is overjoyed.

The police officer has been identified as PC Prakash Pawar, who was seen saving the dog after it waded through the floods in Mumbai. “Man’s best friend, found its best friend in PC Prakash Pawar too. #FriendsIndeed,” reads Mumbai Police’s caption of the post that was shared on their official account on Twitter.
